Pastor Alberto Carbone
Alberto Carbone is a Montréal-based founding pastor, Christian author and international speaker. Born in 1946, he embraced Christian faith at age 22 and completed his studies at Miracle Valley Bible College in Arizona in 1973.
In 1974, he founded Vie et Réveil Church in Montréal, envisioning a Christian community welcoming people from many cultural backgrounds. The ministry later developed into MCI Canada, a church focused on community, preaching and spiritual formation.
His work extended beyond Québec. In 1977, he helped establish Collège Moderne Vie et Réveil in Haiti. In 1983, he developed Bible study groups to support discipleship and spiritual leadership. He has also spoken at conferences across Africa, Europe, Korea and the United States.
His books explore grace, faith, biblical wisdom and relationships, reflecting a lasting desire to make Jesus Christ known and to support spiritual maturity.
In February 2023, lead pastoral responsibility at MCI was officially passed to Benjamin and Maria Carbone. MCI continues to identify Pastor Alberto Carbone among its elders, and his preaching remains available publicly.
